whats the name of this movie? (ive been trying to find it for ages but i only know the ending.)?

in the ending, there is a police officer trying to quickly save a
woman (she may be pregnant) from a car that has been flipped upside
down. the woman is crying, and its a very intense scene, with an
operatic background music (i think).
while he is trying to save her, there is gasoline dripping from the
car, and just as he saves her, and they both get away, the car
explodes. i think i remember the car being red/maroon.
i really, really want to know the name of this movie, please help me
out.
